Congratulations are in order for Mindy Kaling for receiving the IMDb STARmeter Award at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival (video below) on Friday, January 25th in Park City, UT. Mindy has been seen in the hit television shows The Office and The Mindy Project as well as 2017’s star-studded feature films Ocean’s Eight and A Wrinkle in Time. And she shows no signs of slowing down. Her latest, Late Night, in which she starred, wrote and produced, premiered at this year’s festival and promises to be one of the best comedies of 2019.

This “fan favorite” award is determined by the search behavior of more than 250 million unique monthly visitors worldwide. The statistics are updated weekly throughout the year for IMDbPro members. She now joins the likes of previous IMDb STARmeter Award Recipients including Sam Rockwell, Brie Larson, Bryce Dallas Howard, Miles Teller, and more! Mindy certainly deserves this award with all of her hard work on and off-screen. Congratulations Mindy!
